Who is Bruzenskey...

Bruzenskey Bois, a pioneering Real Estate Investor & Developer hailing from Tampa, FL, embodies the essence of visionary leadership. As a first-generation Haitian American raised in Miami, FL, he carved his path to success by graduating from the University of South Florida. A passionate property manager with a remarkable track record, Bruzenskey has skillfully overseen commercial & multifamily real estate portfolios totaling over $23 million in assets. His expertise led him to be recognized as a Certified Apartment Manager by the National Apartment Association in 2011.

In recognizing the urgency of social justice, Bruzenskey initiated the Congressional Black Caucus for New Urbanism. Focused on promoting equity and enhancing spaces through new urbanism principles, the mission is to advocate for walkable, mixed-use neighborhoods and accessible public spaces. By empowering black communities to shape their futures, Bruzenskey strives to ensure safe, affordable, and livable environments for all.

A founding member of the Black Resilience Network, Bruzenskey collaborates with a diverse community of Black organizations and leaders dedicated to strengthening disaster and climate resilience while advancing racial justice. His memberships in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the National Town Builders Association, and the Congress for New Urbanism underscore his commitment to transformative change.

As a thought leader, Bruzenskey's written contributions to publications like the Southern Urbanism Quarterly and features in The Washington Post and the Oklahoma City Free Press showcase his impactful work in historic Black towns and neighborhoods.

Despite facing a profound family tragedy in December 2020, where his mother and sister lost their lives, Bruzenskey found purpose at the crossroads of grief. As the son of Marthe, brother of Benouchka, and a devoted parent, he has not only overcome adversity but has embraced his role as a guardian for his own family, including the recent adoption of Benouchka's daughter and two sons.
