This piece is an ode to a woman who defined an era—Janet Jackson. In the shadow of the biggest pop icon in the world, she carved her own lane and lit it on fire. I created this piece to honor the Queen of Pop in her own right. Her music was the soundtrack to the 90s—bold, sensual, revolutionary. From the stage to the screen, Janet gave us performances that shaped culture, redefined femininity, and showed us that strength and softness could exist in the same breath.
Artistically, what I love most about this piece is its balance. The vibrant red background is intentionally simple—it draws you in but doesn’t compete. Instead, it makes space for the true star to shine. That contrast, that restraint, echoes Janet’s own brilliance: bold without ever being loud for no reason.
